Time to promote your business
For the first time since 2007, inflation has dipped to below the government’s target rate of 2%.
The Bank of England aims to keep inflation at this level to maintain price stability and, more broadly, economic stability. Yesterday’s announcement by the ONS (Office for National Statistics) states that the rate of inflation fell to 1.8% in June, mainly caused by lower food and oil prices.
An encouraging result, especially as it closely follows a report by the BCC (British Chambers of Commerce) business group, which claimed last week that “the worst of the UK’s recession is over”.
Indeed, many businesses have started to notice a slight upturn and confidence levels seem to be rising. Now is the time to start promoting your business! Companies are already planning their marketing activities for the coming year and even years. If you are planning well ahead, it is important to choose promotional items that get the best – and longest – exposure. Only in this way can you guarantee that your name gets seen repeatedly by those customers and prospects you wish to impress.
Promotional calendars offer just that: a stunning canvas, on which to advertise your company, brand, and promotional message for a whole year. This long exposure, coupled with the fact that calendars are still regarded as an essential part of every work station, makes business calendars one of the most cost effective marketing tools around. Which is great news, especially at times like these, when budgets have shrunk and many companies have to scrutinise the effectiveness of their marketing activities more than ever.
The range of corporate calendars from Rose Calendars contains a large selection of titles for every taste - and budget. Please view our 2010 calendars to see for yourself. If we can be of any assistance, please contact us and we will be only too happy to help promote your business.
